What happened to dwarf hamster?

My dwarf hamster has a home in its cage and sleeps in it for a while and later moves to sleep in the toilet tube roll. I thought that this was because it was not cosy so i added tissue in it. Later it ripped the tissue and went back to the roll. I cant figure out what is happening!
