Can Batman 3 be anything but a gigantic disappointment?

TDK gave us Batman's greatest villains, fantastic performances (RIP HL) and an all-round brilliant film. Now I see TDKR shaping up nicely but considering how good it can theoretically be can it be anything but a disaster of EPIC porportions?
