How do I get my dog to stop dragging me on walks?

What i did was carry a bag full of the doggs favourite treats, and whenever the dog tugged, i'd pull out a treat and make it calm down. And when the dog starts to walk without tugging i feed it with another snack, took about 2weeks but sure was worth it, just remember when its tugging, call it until it turns around and just to show it you have some treats so it'll walk closley to you, and then you can feed it :) around and just to show it you have some treats so it'll walk closley to you, and then you can feed it :)
