Has anyone else noticed that atheists seem to know the bible better than christians do?

It appears so because they utilize a set of cherry picked scriptures to help bolster their arguments. They come ready for the fight. Most Christians are not professional apologists, they are merely good hearted people who are unafraid to state their faith even if it means being ridiculed. Avowed atheists on the other hand bone up for the fight. They are contentious and usually obnoxious in that regard.
