;Fate loves the fearless' does that actually work for anyone?I mean isn't it a contradiction?

Fate is something you cannot control it is mapped out what is meant to be is meant to be if you believe in that,so by saying you will go after what you want it favors you but how can it if what you want is different from what your fate is? and isn't that kind of reckless being fearless taking big risks when it could backfire or be for the worse is it not better to stay safe?What is your prospective on this thanks
