Christians / theists and logical contradictions, how can they not see them?

If you want to believe that some kind of necessary matter caused the universe, be my guest. I can't disprove it. But it's not a scientific idea (because science only examines the material, which is subject to cause and effect), and that might be a problem for you if science determines your metaphysics.
